GENERAL DENTIST
Dr. Meet Thakkar is a general dentist and the owner/operator of Bear Mountain Dental. He graduated with several awards and scholarships from the University of Manitoba with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He also holds advanced qualifications in Dental Hygiene, earning his Advanced Diploma and graduating as a gold medalist.
Dr. Thakkar is an experienced practitioner and is gentle and detail-oriented.
Bear Mountain Dental offers comprehensive dental services in-house. These cover preventive care, restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canals, wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, sinus augmentation, clear braces and other types of sedation dentistry.
This allows patient to receive a range of dental services for the entire family at a single clinic.
All our practice equipment is fully digital and state-of-the-art ensuring increased comfort, accuracy and treatment planning. With digital scanners, CBCT 3D X-rays and diode laser technology, we are able to provide modern dental care.
These tools assist us in the diagnosis of issues, definition of treatment plans and make the patient's journey smoother.
We directly bill most provincial government plans, First Nations and Island Health. Coverage will depend on the insurance company and may not be guaranteed by the clinic.
